Chamber of Commerce Membership Commitment Terms & Cancellation Policy
We value your membership and appreciate your participation in the Chamber of Commerce. However, we understand that circumstances may arise where you need to cancel your membership. Please review our cancellation policy below:
- Commitment Term
Memberships are based on a 12-month commitment. If you choose to cancel before the end of your membership term:
- Annual Memberships: Members paying annually are not eligible for refunds for any unused portion of their membership.
- Monthly Memberships: Members paying monthly are required to pay the agreed-upon monthly amount for no less than a 12-month period. If cancellation is requested before the end of the 12-month term, members are responsible for the remaining balance of the annual dues.
- Renewal Policy
- Membership Renewal Requires Member Approval: All Memberships will receive a bill for renewal at the end of their 12-month commitment period. Members can choose to renew or deny renewal at this time.
- Monthly Memberships: Monthly memberships will continue on a month-to-month basis following the initial 12-month commitment unless written notice of cancellation is received at least 30 days before the next billing cycle.
- Termination of Benefits
Membership benefits, including access to events, directory listings, and member discounts, will terminate immediately upon the conclusion of the paid membership term or when cancellation is processed.
- Non-Refundable Payments
All membership dues paid to the Chamber of Commerce are non-refundable, including payments made in advance for annual memberships.
- Final Confirmation
Once your cancellation request is processed, you will receive a confirmation via email or mail. Please keep this for your records.
- Cancellation Notice
Membership cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 30 days prior to your next billing cycle. Written notice can be sent via email to membership@chicochamber.com or mailed to PO Box 3300, Chico, CA 95927.
