promote employment opportunities and support regional workforce development.

Chico Chamber Job Board Policy

Eligibility

  • Job postings are available to active Chico Chamber members in good standing.
  • Postings must represent legitimate employment opportunities.
  • The employer must be the posting organization or an authorized representative.

Posting Standards

All job postings must:

  • Be accurate and current.
  • Include a clear job title and description.
  • Provide application instructions or a direct application link.
  • Comply with all applicable federal and California employment laws.
  • Avoid discriminatory language.
  • Include salary range where applicable under California pay transparency requirements.

The Chamber reserves the right to edit formatting for clarity or reject postings that do not meet standards.

Prohibited Content

The following will not be approved:

  • Commission-only roles without clear disclosure.
  • Multi-level marketing or recruitment schemes.
  • Positions unrelated to legitimate employment.
  • Incomplete or placeholder postings.
  • Discriminatory or unlawful job descriptions.

Duration

  • Standard posting duration: 30 days.
  • Expired postings will be automatically removed.
  • Members may resubmit updated postings after expiration.
