December 12, 2018 CHICO, CA: Thursday, December 13, 2018 the Chico Chamber of Commerce, Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce, Team Chico and the Small Business Administration (SBA) will host a second disaster assistance meeting specifically for businesses that have been affected by the recent Camp Fire. The meeting will take place upstairs in the Old Municipal Building located at 441 Main Street from 5-6:00 p.m. This meeting welcomes displaced businesses to easily gather resources and ask questions of the SBA. The event is free and open to all businesses and the community. RSVP is not required to attend.
SBA Public Information Officers will cover the following: SBA disaster loans & low interest loans for businesses and non-profits, homeowner loans up to $200,000 to repair or to replace primary residence, homeowners and renter loans up to $40,000 to replace personal property, low-interest working capital loans (called Economic Injury Disaster Loans - EIDL), interest rates can be as low as 3.74 percent for businesses, 2.75 percent for private nonprofit organizations and 2 percent for homeowners and renters with terms up to 30 years.
