Skyway House was established in 1993 and is a peer oriented residential alcohol and substance abuse treatment program. We are licensed and certified by the State of California Drug and Alcohol Programs and continue to strive toward the best possible treatment for most individuals, working in conjunction with agencies in Butte and other counties. We are a viable resource for local judges, corrections and law enforcement and are highly respected for our high rate of success in helping alcoholics and addicts get clean and remain clean. We provide caring and competent Counselors and enlighten our residents suffering from substance abuse problems, teaching them how to live a clean and sober lifestyle. These educational classes consist of aftercare case management with supportive services, augmented with vocational and employment readiness. We also offer nutritional training as well as classes in parenting and child development, re-entry, relapse prevention, exit- planning, HIV awareness and life skills. Part of each daily schedule includes in-house groups and individual counseling. Our Detoxification Facility is state licensed and certified. We cater to the needs of those who are experiencing or anticipating the symptoms of drug and alcohol withdrawal. Our goal is to assist in the stabilization process thus minimizing the physical discomforts associated with withdrawal while fostering client readiness for entry into substance abuse treatment. To ensure proper continuum of care, Skyway House proudly offers these other services: Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient, Outpatient Adolescent Drug and Alcohol Programs, Sober Living Environment.
