Listed on the National Historic Register The Durham House is an Italianate Victorian located in Durham, CA a short 10 minutes from Chico and 60 minutes North of Sacramento. Guest rooms are generous in size with no rooms having common walls, and decorated to the period of 1874. Wi Fi, Satelite Television, Air Conditioning, 2000 square feet of porches overlooking almond orchards, swimming pool, Magnificent Victorian Beds converted to King, fireplaces, and incredible gardens are just some of the ammenities that await your arrival. A full gourmet breakfast is served in an intimate dining setting inside or outside on the veranda weather permitting with the best the season has to offer from local farmers.

Set in the heart of a picture-perfect almond orchard, this Victorian-style farmhouse is a quiet, ideal retreat - and you'll never guess that it's only 5 minutes from downtown Chico. Built specifically as a B&B in 1992, the Inn has four guest rooms, all with private baths, one with a fireplace and Jacuzzi tub; garden views of lush trees and green grass are viewed from each guest room, horseshoes, croquet etc., are available for guest's outdoor enjoyment. Quality antiques are the decor throughout the Inn; specific "zoned" cool/heat system for each guest provide comfort no matter the temperatures of winter or summer; musical instruments, puzzles and board games are provided for entertainment or the quiet of the orchard and bird watching from the veranda is a feast for the eyes. A full-ranch house breakfast is provided of freshly baked goods, locally grown fruit, locally made sausages/bacon, main entree such as a frittata or sour cream, blueberry pancakes and the most sought after coffee or tea of your choice (coffee is also delivered to guest rooms before breakfast.) High speed internet service and telephones in each room, complimentary fine wines, homemade cookies, soft drinks plus locally bottled juices are always available to overnight guests.
