Gateway Science Museum has new exhibits for Spring 2012: “Noise!”, and “Toys: The Inside Story”
Noise!-
Investigate the science of sound, music and hearing.
Explore 11 hands-on activities including a scream chamber, creating the soundtrack for a science-fiction film, playing a pipe organ made from PVC tubes, and much more!
Toys: The Inside Story-
Discover 12 hands-on stations illustrating the simple mechanisms commonly found in toys, and create your own toy-like combinations of gears, pulleys, linkages, cams, and circuits!
Open to the public Wednesday through Sunday, noon-5pm.
